Include photographs, especially close ups of the face, eyes and nose. If there is a particular pose you would like your pet/person to be painted in, include that in a photo as well. If you want a specific background or object painted in the portrait, include photos of these (refer to price list for background prices). If you want a certain background but don't have a reference of it (such as trees or a beach) I may be able to find one for you. All photos will be returned with the finished portrait.

Choose a portrait size. 14" x 18" is best for head portraits of smaller dogs and cats, and great for birds. 16" x 20" is a popular choice for the average cameo head and shoulder portrait. If you would like a complete figure portrait, or would like to include more than one subject, the 18" x 24" size is recommended.

A 50% deposit should be included with the order form and photographs. The final 50% plus shipping charges are due after your approval of the completed portrait and prior to shipping. I accept money orders, and personal/business checks.
